Calling all San Francisco/Sacramento Mark VII Folks!

Postby K MANIAC » Sat Nov 03, 2012 11:37 pm

We are all overdue for an SF/Sac "get together" and luncheon. Some say "build it and they will come", but I would prefer to get some input first. I am willing to host such an event over here in Concord on either a Saturday or Sunday in the month of November. My suggestion is the weekend of November 10 & 11. Anyone else out there interested in participating? All comments about day, time and place are welcome. Just post up.

I'm interested. Unfortunately, the drive would be about 850 miles for me.

I'm out of the country on business. I'd be interested for a meet at the end of the month.

Thanks for the response, Nick. Let me know which weekends you are available at the end of November and in December, then we can work something out from there. Anyone else in the Bay Area and close by interested or available? Let us know.

Let's try this again.

March 16, 2013. Cars & Coffee in the morning or lunch somewhere. Who's with me?

Someone please bring an LSC so I can remember why I have two ongoing projects 3k miles away.

All right, time for me to take the lead here. How about this...

March 16, 2013, lets meet at Baja Fresh in the SunValley Mall on the corner of Willow Pass Road/SunValley Avenue and Contra Costa Boulevard in Concord at 1:00 PM. I will try to be there in one of my Lincolns. If not driving a Lincoln, I will either have my Dodge Shadow Convertible if it is sunny, or KayLA the Aqua-Blue Impala if it is dreary or rainy. I will even wear one of my Lincoln Mark VII club shirts. I will be there, how about you?

Directions:

Coming from the south, take I-680 north to the Willow Pass Road exit. Turn left and pass under the freeway. Baja Fresh will be on the corner on the right before the second traffic signal. Turn right at the second SunValley Mall into the parking lot and Baja Fresh will be on the left.

Coming from the north, take I-680 south to the Willow Pass Road exit. Turn right onto SunValley Avenue. Baja Fresh will be on the corner on the right before the second traffic signal. Turn right at the second SunValley Mall into the parking lot and Baja Fresh will be on the left.

Note: Baja Fresh is NOT in the mall, it is in the stand alone building on the extreme southwest corner of the mall parking lot. There is plenty of open parking available. Also, the SunValley Mall is legally annexed into the city of Concord and is the only property west of the I-680 freeway that is considered part of the city of Concord. Everything else surrounding the SunValley Mall is considered the city of Pleasant Hill. Are you confused yet? I know I am.

One week away and the plan is a go. Anyone else willing to commit, or at least comment?
