San Francisco/NorCal Mark VII folks - October 17, 2015

Postby K MANIAC » Sun Sep 27, 2015 2:38 pm

Saturday October 17, 2015 is the Las Lomas High School Car Classic in Walnut Creek, California. This is a fund raiser for my children's high school. I have pre-registered my two Mark VII's and was hoping for a little support. The link to the show flyer is attached below. Please let me know if you plan to attend. I will be there.

Got a set of new tires for Blu yesterday and the Ox is ready to go. Also registered both cars, so were all set. What time do you plan to arrive?........ 8-)

Oh this is COOL. Time to show the kids just what a Lincoln Mark VII is all about. All we need now is OldSchool1 and "Pinkin". Perhaps another day.

The better half and I managed to get both cars road ready and headed down to Walnut Creek for the car show. Got to meet KMANIAC in person (he brought his LSC and Blass) and got to talk Mark VII's. Got to meet a few people that knew of the VII's or owned one in the past. All and all a fun day and both cars ran without any problems (longest trip since we owned them). Here's a few pix of the "other" Lincolns that made it to the show.

These are our cars just before we got ready to leave.. KMANIAC's LSC

KAMANIAC's Blass, our new addition "Blu" and the WhiteOx on the end..

It was a fun day, got to meet some great people and see some beautiful cars....besides ours of course
Four Mark VII's in one place, that's got to be a rare sight these days...
Cheers 8-)

That was an awesome show Guys. Thanks for the Lincoln pics!

Chris is cool people. We hung out one afternoon in San Francisco. I would need at least two weeks to visit all of the people that I need to see on The Left Coast.

PINKIN spent a year in LA before I bought it and had it shipped back to it's current home in PA (New Jersey).

This was the first time "Blu" had been out since purchase and it was the Ox's first real road trip since acquisition and both cars ran like a top. Chris was indeed excited about both cars and had fun looking at the vin's and such. It was nice to meet him and see his two cars. We need to plan other outings as my "better half" and I both had a great time. We need to find more Mark VII's out there, so few on the road these days. Someday I hope to meet "pinkin" in person, it's on the bucket list 8-)

Nah. I bypassed that and the muffler bearing on February the 29th.
I've hijacked enough of this thread.
Back to the car at hand.
