The jack is attached to the interior of the spare tire/wheel with a bolt/wing-nut through a lug hole on the space saver spare. I don't recall its location on the full sized spare, but I'd bet it's in the same place.

stemirra,
You may be confused a bit by the hardware that you purchased. The jack itself has a wing-bolt that attaches the jack directly to a lug hole in the space-saver spare. The larger "J" hook with the plastic handle is not used with the space-saver spare, but is included in the "spare and jack kit" included in all Marks. The "J" hook is only used if you have a full sized spare.

Cars ordered with the full sized spare also have a full sized tire cover made from the same carpet as the trunk carpet. The "J" hook slips through a bracket that is already attached to your trunk floor just forward of the trunk well. A slit in the carpet allows the threaded end of the "J' hook to protrude through the carpet where a tire and wheel can be placed over it. (If you don't know it's there, you'd never find it) The plastic threaded handle then secures the tire to the forward section of the trunk, and the cover is then put over the whole thing, concealing the jack, tire, wheel and whatever else you wish to throw into the wheel. (I used to keep a quart of oil, serpentine belt, basic hand tools and whatever, in the wheel and then put the cover over all of it) The space on the drivers side of the trunk, where the space saver spare goes has a hinged cover and is used for whatever you wish to stow in there. (Pretty Handy!)

What Art said ... only this is a picture of a "Space Saver Spare". The very same configuration pertains to the "Full Sized Spare". Both can be mounted on the SHELF of the trunk.

Yah, I know Fred! He's taught me well also. I've had to lease computer drive space from NASA for all the pictures I've taken under his tutorage. The only reason I didn't have a picture of the full sized spare is that only one I have is in Idaho and although I considered the 1400 mile round trip drive to snap an image for that post, I had already taken my shower and was ready for bed! :D
