hood light

Postby phoenix » Sat Jun 26, 2010 1:41 pm

so, um, i had this new hood light that i never got around to installing. i finally decided to do this thing and... after i pulled my old light assembly out, i now am confused as to how it was being held in place. there is a large hole and two smaller holes. i am probably staring at something really obvious, but i can't quite figure it out. anybody swapped hoodlights before? thanks!

Yup.

I don't have any clear pictures for you but, the wire connector should be forward abd the actual bulb, rearward. The hood of my 1990 has three holes but I only remeber two anchors on the switch.

Line things up before pushing them in as once they're in, they're difficult to remove without damaging the plastic.
