How well does it work? I ask because I have an oil leak that I want to find and I also want to clean up old caked on oil on my 132k mile 24 yr old car. How well will it clean up caked on oil?

Thanks for the help!

Avoid getting it on the paint in direct sunlight, but it is an excellent cleaner. I use it diluted for a wheel cleaner, and for the front and bottom sides when washing. Don't let it dry, as in full sunlight.

To clean under the hood or for grease, I suggest engine degreaser. That is great and doesn't harm the paint, and in full sunlight I don't think it will do any harm. I've used many brands for lots of engine bays. I occasionally would use the PP sprayed on a mitt for carefully hand cleaning under the hood. But don't let that dry either, have a water hose handy to keep things rinsed off and wet.

Use different mitts for the top painted surfaces, and don't use that for wheels etc.

Most brands are about the same. The prices more or less match the quality. I like it because it cuts grease and isn't very harsh. It's what I grab when I need to clean my hands without going inside to wash.

I didn't know there was something like that out there that went to an air compressor. The only problem with going to HF tho is that I go for one thing and end up spending way more than I plan lol. Next time I go I will have to get one of those.
