Well it's on, and flashing. Not sure wtf to do, so any advice would be appreciated.
And yes the airbag is there.

It should flash out a code. Count the number of flashes before a longer pause, then a a number of flashes again. Usually the same number again and again etc. Let us know how many flashes.

No Air Bag Indicator - Inoperative Indicator Circuit
2 All Primary Crash Sensor Disconnected
3 Air Bag Deployment Circuit - Low Battery Voltage or Low Backup Power Supply Voltage.
4 Safing Sensor - Diagnostic Circuit Open or Low Primary Crash Sensor Resistance
5 Air Bag Circuit or Crash Sensor Circuit- Shorted to Ground
6 Driver Side Air Bag Circuit- High Resistance or Open
7 Passenger Side Air Bag Circuit - High Resistance or Open
8 Primary Crash Sensor Circuit - Not Mounted to Vehicle Properly.
9 Primary Crash Sensor Circuit - Open or High Resistance
10 Diagnostic Monitor Internal Thermal Fuse - Open due to Intermittent Short to Ground

basically that means something shorted out and the air bag module is dead now. You'll have to check the wiring to make sure nothing is shorted out, and then replace the module. There should be pinpoint tests in the shop manual detailing exactly what should be checked.

the actual air bag computer. Find one in the junkyard, they're usually not much. Problem is you need to find out what caused the thermal fuse to blow otherwise the replacement module will fail too. You really need the shop manual for the diagnostic process to fix the problem.

IIRC, a solid light = Control Module Toast. (Manuals are all packed away right now)
